The Assistant/Intern Program is an opportunity for American Academy students to shadow and support school faculty and staff. This ranges from working with the Counselor, to the Nurse, to the Athletics Director, as well as with teachers. The goal of the program is to give students the opportunity to learn essential skills they will need when they graduate from high school.
American Academy uses the P21 framework to think forward to what skills our students need. According to P21,
